Message But if that were the case why isn't SZ still using them? Wasn't there quality and cost factors that precipitated SZ's move to an Asian manufacturer?
Aren't (some or most of) their current exhaust products now being made in Asia?

I agree that proximity to a manufacturer would be a sought after thing but in light of rising NA manufacturing costs, companies seek out the services in the Asian market.
How do NA companies still out "diligent inspection and visits to the manufacturer to ensure proper processes are being used in making the product"? This would mean that SZ would have to make a heck of a lot of pretty long trips to ensure that. That in itself must be quite costly.
